Mission

Change A Life is a ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, in a slum called Mathare. Our mission is to reach children who are among the poorest of the poor and to change one life at a time by providing basic needs, quality education, nurturing relationships, and spiritual development. We are motivated by the love and example of Jesus, who invited the children to come to him (Matthew 19:13-15) and whose mission included bringing good news to the poor (Luke 4:16-19).

 Programs

Change A Life reaches children and families in Mathare, Kenya, through the following major programs, which are funded by generous supporters from the United States who sponsor children in our program on a one-on-one basis.

Saturday program

A weekly event which serves the spiritual and nutritional needs of children, and helps us connect with families in our community. Learn more.

A Christian school in Mathare that provides a foundation for children to grow and learn. Learn more.

Located 50 kilometers from Mathare, here our students flourish as they receive a quality Christian education in a clean, loving, nurturing environment. Learn more.
